Offensively: LHH. Crouched, even stance, as the hands started at a 45. Calm setup and able to phase into load position easily, delivering a stretched, flat path into the hitting zone towards a two-handed finish. Tons of connection when driving the ball to the pull-side; 96 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak. Present bat-speed and handles velocity in-game with a mature approach. Sprays it around depending on where he’s pitched; barrel lag.
Defensively: The shortstop featured on-time feet that showed moderate pace around the ball at the fielding window. Flat back and taller glove hand that exchanged smoothly, 86 mph arm-strength across the diamond/left side appeal.
Pitching: RHP. The righty begins from the wind off the middle of the rubber; gets down the slope with hip/shoulder allowing for life on 81-84 mph FB in the zone. Added short 73-75 mph SL across the zone with leverage.
Physical: Highly athletic, strong 6-foot, 190lb frame. 7.11 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Open, upright stance, as the hands showed rhythm at a higher start. Utilized a directional stride out towards the pitcher, initiating the swing through a lagged, flat path with heavy impact. Repeated the movements allowing for a highly effective round, spraying contact from gap to gap up to a 96 mph bat-exit velocity. Balanced hitter that notched a 339 foot distance at his peak. Actions transfer to gameplay.
Defensively: The middle infielder kept the feet moving with bounce in the prep step and arrived on time with the left side when fielding. Funneled cleanly inward from the middle of his body and released in sequence from a H ¾ slot across the diamond (82 mph, accurate).
Physical: Athletic, lengthy 6-foot, 180lb frame with two-way skills flashing. 7.27 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Slightly open, balanced stance with the hands starting just outside the shoulder at a well-stretched position. Utilized a leg lift before placing down to a wide attack and initiating through a flat, connected path into the hitting zone. Natural feel for his body in space, using adjustability on pitches down in the zone to match pitch plane. Posted a T87 mph bat-exit velocity with feel to the pull-side while notching batted ball distances up to 310 feet via Trackman. Top of the order profile with traveling bat to ball skills, tough at-bats carry over into game action.
Defensively: The primary shortstop featured good footwork on the left side, picking a hop and attacking with rhythm/pace over the front side, held right-left, right-left momentum through the baseball using clean exchanges and a quick ¾ release ACC on the bag (81 mph arm). Able to manipulate slots and throw comfortably on the run to the target. A candidate to slide around the INF with positional flexibility if need be.
