A solid hip turn and direct swing path leads to consistent hard contact with present gap power. Showcased an 85 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.03 60-yard dash. Worked out solely as a catcher, but foot speed allows Hoecke to also handle duties in the outfield when not behind the dish. Registered pop times of 2.06-2.18 on throws of 72 mph from the crouch with quick feet and a clean transition. Among the top uncommitted backstops in the state.
