2027 SS/RHP Ryan Aires put together the best bullpen at the Aurora King Jays Scout Day with a fastball sitting 77-79mph (highest velo of the day). The 5-foot-10, 150-pound right-hander works with a clean arm-swing and ¾-arm slot while filling up the zone with multiple pitches. Aires also featured a curveball at 63-64mph and slider at 67-68mph. Positionally, Aires was 72mph across the diamond, along with a peak exit velocity of 78.3mph, distance of 268ft and Sweet Spot % of 62. Still a 2027, there’s plenty more to come from Aires as he continues to grow and develop as a baseball player.
