Grossington was one of the main attractions in the box today at Spring Training. The bat has come along nicely since the fall, with a more fluid, and loose set up. He got the barrel out and had multiple hard hit balls to his pull-side. The Winthrop commit also looked his usual self up the middle with above average defence at SS, including turning multiple double plays with quick actions and soft hands. Grossington will be a close follow all week down in Florida.

Grossington, 5-foot-11, 170-pounds, was a standout at the dish and in the field at the Future Games Trials. Grossington defence stands out immediately the way he glides to the ball and how quick and smooth his hands are. He was his usual self in the infield, showcasing his hands and arm strength finishing the day with an 85 mph INF velo. In the box, he sprayed the ball all over the ballpark showing off his gap-to-gap approach. Grossington will look to have a big summer in 2022 and we will continue to follow him as he develops.

Grossington, 5-foot-11, 165-pounds, was a standout fielder at the Spring Training Scout Day. Grossington showcases soft hands and good defensive actions. We kept an eye on him throughout BP at 3rd base and he made it look easy making tough plays to his back hand multiple times. Grossington moves well and we are excited to see what kind of plays he can make in-game this week in Panama City Beach.
