6-foot-4, 225-pound two-way guy, Faber is a member of the Tri-City Giants. He can provide value on the mound at the right school at the next level. On the day of the CDN Showcase, he was only a position player and showed well. There’s some pop from the right side of the dish, and he put out repeatable quality swings. He was 74 mph from the infield; he did a solid job of transferring and getting off throws. Name to follow going forward.
2.18.19 Faber, a big 6-foot-4, 225-pound first-baseman is a member of the Tri-City Giants. Faber is a physical presence who’s natural size and strength allow him to generate up to 87 mph of exit velocities. He shows the ability to go down and hit pitches on the lower half, and with his path hit low line-drives across the diamond. He's best on the mound where he gets downhill and lands in-line comfortably up to 80 mph. He will also throw in developing breaking-stuff which allow him to keep hitters honest. We look forward to seeing more of Faber during this year and beyond.
