11/10/17 - Abram is now 6-foot-7, 210-pounds with added strength and a physical presence on the mound with his size. The Oklahoma commit has been on the radar for a few years now, but he’s taken steps forward in 2017, clipping 89 mph at Tournament 12 this past September, while sitting in the 85-87 range. The Junior National Team member has also grown a little since pitching in Jupiter a year ago, and has begun to flourish into a polished pitcher who pounds the zone with the confidence to throw all his pitches. The delivery is controlled with an easy tempo, fastball will show good downhill plane when he is on time and outfront, curveball works in mid to high 70's and he will get late bite and down action, changeup works from same slot as fastball and has improved command this past year. Still room to gain strength, many will be following Abram with the National team in March and April this 2018.

8/27/15 Abram is a 6-foot-6, 180-pound righty who uses his long frame to work downhill and get on top of hitters with his 83-84 mph fastball. Abram has a very projectable pitcher’s body and is just 15 years old still. He shows good balance and body control for size, while throwing strikes and staying around the zone with his pitches. He mixes in off-speed with a curveball at 68 mph that shows 11/5 shape, while including a changeup at 70 mph. High ceiling righty who meets the eye-test with signs of pitchability as well. Will be a high follow and should be an early D1 commit guy.
7/31/15 Long and lean 2018 grad with very projectable pitcher's body. Does good job of repeating delivery for age and size, showing coordination and athleticism. Works from 3/4 arm slot and is able to use height and leverage to work downhill. At times can break down on backside, causing him to elevate or flatten out with fastball. The arm works with good tempo in delivery, shows ability to get arm out front with some quickness. Fastball up to 84 mph with more to come. Secondary stuff still work in progress, demonstrates he can spin a curveball with proper rotation, also mixes in slider that was at best when he finished and was extended out front. Good looking prospect with high ceiling on the mound. Top arm in Ontario currently for his age class. Will be fun to follow his development, chance to be a special arm.
