Uher got the start in Game Two for the Mets, working seven complete innings and got stronger as the game went on. Smaller statured right-hander at 5-foot-10, 175-pounds but has long stood with a quick arm and pitchability. The fastball sat 86-88 T89 early on before settling in 85-87mph range later in the game. Worked with an effective two-pitch mix, showing the ability to throw the breaking ball in any count. The pitch has 11-5 shape and runs away from right-handed hitters, helping him generate swings/misses on it. An arm who really has a chance to pop in junior college as he heads to Northwest Florida State.

Uher has proven to be one of the most efficient 2025 arms in Ontario this summer and flashed that at the Future Games. Smaller stature on the mound at 5-9, 170lbs with a quick arm and strike-throwing abilities. The fastball sat 87-90mph and he pairs it with a slider at 78-79, with both pitches playing well off each other. It was a quality two-innings from Uher and he wasn't fazed under the bright lights. The development of the changeup will be something to watch going forward and could help elevate his stock in a starters role.

2025 RHP Alex Uher continues to show some of the better stuff on the mound in Ontario’s 2025 class. Smaller stature at 5-foot-9, 170-pounds with athletic movements and a long, loose arm with the ability to repeat his delivery. The fastball sat 86-88 over 4+ innings and generates good spin on the pitch, up to 2500+ at the Future Games Trials in April. Ability to locate the offspeed stuff for strikes and on Sunday he featured a curveball and slider that both play well off the fastball with different characteristics. The curveball sat 71-74 with tight, top-to-bottom action while the slider was 77-78mph with more of a sweepy-look. Continues to show well in live-game action and had no fear attacking the middle of a strong offensive OBJ team.

Uher was just as impressive this time out as he was earlier this month at the Future Game Trials. Mound presence pounding the zone throughout his pen finishing with 5 K’s in the 6 batters he faced, with the FB being his main weapon with easy life out of the hand and high spin (2477) sitting 87-89. There’s shape and sharp bite to the CB that was down and on the edges of the plate that compliments a diving change-up when thrown down in the zone. Our first look from one of the top ‘25 arms in the province against live hitters and he did not disappoint.

2025 RHP Alex Uher was one of the most impressive arms we saw on the weekend. A little undersized at 5-foot-9, 170-pounds but it’s a quick, clean arm with quality stuff and command. The fastball sat 89-90 T90.8 with above-average spin (2483rpm avg.) and filled up the zone with it. The pitch graded out well on our PBR Pitch Scores with a Hop+ score of 107. Worked with a tight and firm slider at 80-83mph (2284rpm avg.) and was able to locate with it. Also flashed a good looking changeup that he sells well with armspeed and some heavy fade/downward action to it. One of the more impressive bullpens we’ve seen this spring from a 2025 arm.

Uher was one of the arms our staff was most excited to see and he didn't disappoint. At 5-foot-9, 150-pounds there's still plenty of growing to come in his game but he continues to work with a firm fastball at 85-85, T87.5 mph. The fastball produced one of the top spin scores (28) thanks an average FB spin rate of 2345rpm.

2025 RHP Alex Uher was no doubt to the top underclass arm at the 2022 New Year Open. Small, skinny, high-waisted frame at 5-foot-9, 150-pounds with a quick, clean arm and tunnels all of his pitches well. The fastball sat 83-85mph with armside run, along with a CB at 64-67mph and CH at 70-74mph. Good start to the year from Uher who has the chance to make some noise over the next year.
