During hitting evaluations, Boothe starts slightly opened, slight knee pinch into load, quiet hands, in line stride, high finish with hands, showed pop to his pull side during batting practice. Behind the plate, he showed clean transfers, quiet hands, over the top arm slot, positional velo of 70 mph, mostly accurate throws, pop times between 2.28 and 2.35 seconds.
