Defensively, shows good flexibility in the crouch and strong quiet hands when receiving. Uses a moderate hanging leg kick with a long stride before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path through extension. In BP, shows a middle to pull approach with some lift and pop, 83 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.14 second 60. Defensively, from behind the dish, is an advanced receiver, catching from a balanced base with soft and quiet hands. Shows quick and clean exchanges, throwing with a short arm stroke through an over the top slot with accuracy at 74 mph to second base and showcase pop times of 1.94-2.16. Also, athletic enough to play third base.
