The 2024 infielder/outfielder had one of the more impressive weeks at the entire event was easily one of the top 2024 hitters to play at the Future Games. Coil’s workout day was highlighted by his impressive round of BP and his ability to create hard contact with exit speeds reaching up to 95 mph from his smaller but athletic build. Coil is known as one of the better gamer type players in the 2024 class and really shined during the games. He finished the week going 4-9 with three doubles and 3 RBI. Coil can really run the bases at an advanced level picking up a couple stolen bases, reading balls in the dirt, and scoring from second on a routing ground ball to third. Coil is the type of player that really understands his own game at a high level and will be a very interesting prospect to continue to follow as he continues to get stronger.
