Fort Cobb-Broxton vs Edmond North
Eli Willits, 2026, MIF, Fort Cobb Broxton, Oklahoma commit
The young switch-hitter wasted no time in this one against one of the better arms in the state lining a base hit back up the middle from the left-side before shooting a double down the right field line from the right-side later in the game. Willits has advanced plate coverage from both sides that you don’t typically see from freshman and has impact bat type skills that should only improve as he gets older and adds strength. Defensively he mans the second base spot while his older brother plays short but clearly has the type of actions and athleticism that make for an elite middle infielder. Willits is the top ranked player in Oklahoma for the 2026 class and in our looks at him on a rainy day did nothing but solidify that ranking.
2026 MIF â¦@EliWillitsâ© (Fort Cobb Broxton and â¦@OU_Baseballâ© commit) picks up 2 hits in his first two ABs from both sides of the plate including a 2 RBI 2B to give the Mustangs a 3-1 lead in the 3rd. Advanced athleticism with a feel for the barrel@shooterhunt pic.twitter.com/k5MzBF34Cs
