Began in an athletic stance with a small load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was explosive, displayed flat swing plane and level finish. He Produced loud contact and found some barrels. In the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 86 mph. Athletic In the infield, had a clean exchange, sure hands and quick footwork. Used a very quick arm action to the bases. Recorded a time of 7.48 in the 60-yard dash. Smooth on the mound, where he showed lightning arm speed, also used a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher who shows high effort. Has athletic balance point and even shoulders. Lands square with a clean finish. Threw his fastball 81-83 mph with a max of 83 mph; shows arm side control and running action. Throws a 1/7 curveball (66-69) with plus action. Had decent control and late action on his changeup (71-72). An elite player in his class.
