Kade Brewster: 2B/SS, (2021) Meeker, OK. 6-foot-2, 140-pound slim frame. In the box, Brewster had an exit velocity of 76 mph. Began in a balanced stance with a small load, then used a short stride to start his swing. Bat speed was some, used short swing plane and level finish. He Barreled up multiple balls during the round. Up the middle approach. Average while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 73 mph; has firm hands, developing feet and a clean exchange. Used an-over-the-top slot and a long arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.61.
Showcased a long and lean 6-foot-2, 135-pound frame with obvious projectability. The right-handed hitter begins from a balanced, even stance utilizing a quick lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Showed advanced feel for his hands while generating an easy, slightly uphill barrel through the zone. Registered a 74 mph bat-exit velocity with some carry to the pull-side gap. Future gap to gap power can be expected with added strength. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash. The primary middle infielder arrived on time to balls on both sides of his body with advantageous routes allowing for momentum towards the target. A low center of gravity and comfortable glove hand with ability to push and pull when needed yielded accurate 74 mph arm-strength out of a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot.
