Changeup was used sparingly, played at 70-71 mph. At the plate, balanced setup, quick leg lift trigger, short stride. 11/18/17
Ran a 4.65 from home to first. A right-handed bat that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a leg kick timing trigger with an easy back load to his hands. Creates solid separation/ torque at foot strike and launches from a balanced position. Finds plane well and his well above average strength/bat speed combination show in swing. Ball gets off his bat well, showing the ability to create backspin to both sides of the field. Recorded an exit velocity of 87 mph. Very impressive performance at the plate in general. In the infield he uses quick, direct footwork in his approach. Tends to play from heels at times. Ball skills are average to slightly above average at this stage. Threw across the diamond with 77 mph arm strength.
