2/9/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Slow tempo delivery with regular effort. Directional to the plate with tendency to finish towards first base. Throws from a ¾ arm slot with a short arm action. Low spin rate guy whose stuff plays better to the bottom of the zone. Fastball: Works lower half of the zone well. Occasional arm side action. Fastball Spin Rate: 1740-1840. Curveball: Slurvey type 11/4 gradual break. More side to side action than depth. Curveball Spin Rate: 2110-2240. Changeup: Thrown with good arm speed. Enough to keep guys off-balance.

5-foot-10, 170-pound. Athletic build with strong lower body. Ciccantelli was one of the standout pitchers in the 2021 class. Fluid delivery and looks confident on the mound. Uses a short arm action through a high-¾ slot. Fastball was 82-86 MPH working downhill with regular arm side run. Breaking ball has near 12/6 shape and at times was very sharp at 68-71 MPH. Also, offered a knuckleball that has more of a tumble and cut action at 68-70 MPH. Also was intriguing as a position player. Showed raw power from the right side and played a well above average third base.
Impressive two-way talent. We've had limited viewing of Ciccantelli but the potential is very intriguing. Ciccantelli has a fastball that has been up to 85 mph and shows advanced raw power at the plate for class with the ability to leave the park presently. Will be attending 2018 Top Prospsect Games.
