6-foot-4, physical frame with still some room left to add. Flows through delivery with rhythm and ball comes out without a ton of effort. Long lever type with a fast arm. Highest spin rate guy we saw on the day that makes his 86-89 mph fastball play even high velo wise. Also spun a breaking ball that was very sharp at times. Spins it on a near 12/6 plane with big, sharp action through the zone. A bit erratic at times but the right-hander was near unhittable when in the zone, striking out 5 out of the 6 batters he faced. High upside guy that has an impressive combination of size an arm talent.
Body Type: 6-foot-4, 195-pound very projectable frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Athletic delivery. Arm really works with noticeable looseness to it. Looks the part out there with actions appearing fluid and easy.
Fastball: 83-86 mph. Could easy see him being a high velo guy down the road. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s upper 8’s consistently this summer.
Curveball: 71-74 mph. Impressive offering. Late bite with present swing and miss.
Changeup: 77-80 mph. Good pitch stuff wise with inconsistent command.
Pitchability: When he was in the zone it was very impressive.
