2/9/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Helms throws from a high ¾ arm slot. His delivery isn’t particularly dynamic. Creates a downhill plane on his pitches. Fastball: The fastball was 77-79 mph and mostly true through the zone. Curveball: His breaking ball was 60-62 mph with slurvey shape and minimal bite. Pitch shows potential but needs to be thrown with more aggressiveness. Changeup: The changeup was 69-70 mph. Pitchability: Overall average feel for his stuff but there’s definitely more projection in there. Breaking ball presently is average but shows potential to develop into a quality offering.
