A 6-foot-3, long-limbed prospect with more physical projection left on frame. Delivery has some moving parts (as to be expected for a prospect at his age and length) but doesn’t require much effort. Arm is very loose and whippy, generating heavy run on his 76-78 mph fastball. Secondary arsenal is led by his sweeping slider that darts across the strike zone at 67-69 mph. It’s easy to see why Coach Kaczmar at Walsh Jesuit and Coach Kelly of IVL are very high on the lefty. A name to look out for down the road as it’s likely height and velocity will be trending upwards over the next few years. As a position guy he has an ideal frame for the first base position. Combination of length and lateral mobility allow him to cover a ton of ground over there. Glove is more than adequate for the position. At the plate he has a run producer frame/strength. His long limbs really allow him to do damage when he gets extended. Strength is slightly ahead of bat speed presently. Used the whole field with backspin abilities up the middle.
