The Arms

Logan Bell RHP / SS / Lisbon David Anderson, OH / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 130 / POS: 40 Report: We saw Bell last year as he was heading into his sophomore season at 79-80 mph but the arm really worked and delivery was effortless. Bell spent most of 2017 around that same velocity but it was just a matter of time before physical maturation took its course and he took the next jump. The right-hander showed up to the IVL scout day noticeably filled out and with more electricity to his arm,  tossing his second fastball of the day at 87 mph. Throughout his outing he sat 84-87 mph with a much firmer, sharper breaking ball. His status looks to have made the jump from follow to scholarship level prospect.
