: SS/RHP, (2023) Edgewood, OH. 6-foot-3, 175-pound lean athletic frame. Solid during batting practice, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 96 mph. (72.3 mph bat speed average). (21.3 mph hand speed average). Began in a tall narrow stance with a controlled small load, then used a toe tap stride. Bat speed was quick, and used a level swing plane. Pull side approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 84 mph; had athletic in control footwork, and a fluid exchange. Uses his glove out front. Had a slot with a quick loose arm action. Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.93 60-yard dash. Solid on the mound, showed quick arm speed, he had a loose consistent arm action with low arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 82-85 mph; shows running action with heavy movement. (Max spin 1853; Avg 1745). Threw a sharp curveball (72-74) with sweeping action. (Max spin 2116; Avg 2008). His changeup (76-77) had fading action.

Began in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Had a simple upward swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 81 mph; had consistent footwork, a quick exchange, and sure hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed a quick arm action with a high slot. Performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.87. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, also used a high arm angle and a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 79-81 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1656; Avg 1583). Has gradual sweeping action on his 11/5 curveball (67-68). (Max spin 1696; Avg 1696). He shows fading action on his changeup (70-70). Had late action on his 10/4 slider (68-69). (Max spin 1904; Avg 1686).

Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a controlled small leg kick. Bat speed is quick flashed, exhibits an upward simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 85 mph; has soft hands, rhythmic feet, and a clean exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a high slot and a quick arm action. Performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.85. Solid on the mound, had a high arm angle and a quick compact arm action with good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Showed athletic balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands soft with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 83-86 mph; shows slight running action with hard movement. (Max spin 1629; Avg 1522). His 11/5 curveball (72-73) shows tight action. (Max spin 1898; Avg 1898). He had slight fading action on his changeup (70-71). 

Scout Evaluation 

6-foot-2, 155-pound wiry, projectable body frame with longer limbs. Had a strong showing in the infield. He has active, athletic footwork with fluidity in his actions, taking good angles while approaching ground balls. Fields with softness to his hands and has quickness to his transfer. Throws with a clean arm action through a slot reaching a velocity of 71 mph. On the mound he throws with regular effort to his delivery landing in a straight line at foot strike and finishes with his momentum carrying in good direction toward the plate. Has quickness to his arm speed coming through a slot. Has good command of a three-pitch mix. Fastball is mostly true through the zone ranging from 74-76 mph and topping out at 78 mph. Curveball has an 11/5 shape with good depth and gradual break at 61-62 mph. Changeup is deceptive throwing it with good arm speed at 66-68 mph. Right-handed hitter showed present strength in his swing which will only continue to improve as he continues to mature physically. Starts from an open stance using a toe tap for timing, initiating his lower half landing back even at foot strike. Has a fluid load with his hands moving past his back shoulder finishing his swing with a two-handed follow through. Hit the ball to all parts of the field during his round of BP while reaching an exit velocity of 88 mph. Made solid contact in all three of his plate appearances during game play when doubled down the third base line and hit two ground balls to each side of the infield while also recording a stolen base. Ran a 7.82 60-yard dash.
