2/9/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Albright throws from a ¾ arm slot and creates good downhill leverage on his pitches. Delivery is pretty linear overall and shows some repeatability even though it is a little ‘funky.’ Fastball: The fastball was 83-86 mph with some life to the arm side. Curveball: His breaking ball was 71-72 mph with curveball shape and spin. Pitch came out on fastball plane and had good depth. Pitchability: Good feel for his two pitches. Fastball and curveball paired well together.
6/12/19
Body Type: 6-foot-1, 165-pound athletic, projectable frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Uptempo delivery. There are some minor timing issues that causes some inconsistencies but the arm is live and the athleticism is obvious. Has a chance to really throw it once it all comes together. Fastball: 81-82 mph. Live pitch. High spin rate guy with near 100% spin efficiency. Curveball: 67-69 mph. One of the better breaking balls we saw on the day. Late, sharp bite with present swing and miss to it. Pitchability: In/out throughout his outing. Additional Comments: Big time arm talent. Looks the part of a high end arm.
6/27/18
The top pitching prospect of the day. A southpaw with an ideal pitchers frame. Stands 5-foot-10, 150-pounds with a high waist and broad shoulders. Arm action is shorter with obvious arm speed. Fastball jumps out of hand, showing late life at 74-76 mph. Breaking ball has a 1/7 shape with some definite sharpness to it when he gets on top of it. Also tosses a playable changeup. Very promising young prospect with a bright future.
