Aaron Flowers: RHP/C, (2023) Upper Sandusky, OH. 6-foot-1, 195-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter displayed an exit velocity of 96 mph, Top 3 EV at the showcase. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Has quick bat speed, upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 79 mph; had consistent footwork, soft hands, and a natural exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. While catching, he recorded a position velocity of 77 mph during throw downs; had a natural transfer, consistent footwork, and soft hands. showed his ability to throw runners out with an efficient pop time of 1.90-2.20. Some flexibility and clean setup. Used a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.88. On the mound, using a loose arm action he showed consistent arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Threw his fastball 85-86 mph. Showed slight running action. (Max spin 2416; Avg 2298). Throws a 11/5 curveball (70-72) that has sweeping action. (Max spin 2608; Avg 2334). His changeup (70-71) had slight fading action.
