Feb 23 2018
Robert is a 6’0” 195 lb 3b/RHP that ran a 4.54 home-to-first. Offensively: He bats in a crouched stance, with most of his weight on his back foot. He uses a small stride and has good bat-to-ball skills. He could get more power from utilizing his lower half and getting more extension after contact. Recorded an exit velocity of 80 MPH. Defensively: Very sure handed in the field, quick release and 86 MPH throw across the infield. Pitching: One of the most polished pitchers at the event. Worked in the 83-84 MPH range with command of three pitches. Very controlled mechanics, effortless delivery with precise command. Everything works in sync. Lots of tail on two-seamer.
NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)
Sturdy 5-foot-11, 185 pound frame, ran a 7.93/60. Pitching - clean arm action, effortless, gets downward plane on fastball at 85-86 MPH that touches 87 MPH, looks like he can throw for days, fastball shows late run, gets good bite on slider at 72-74 MPH. Offensively - effective load, appropriate pre-pitch movement, quick to the ball, brings bat through the zone on a level path, repeatable motion with an exit velocity of 83 MPH. Defensively - fundamentally sound, economic use of footwork, smooth transfer with arm across infield at 76 MPH.
Long Island Top Prospect (January 16, 2017)

Milopsky, a 2019 right-handed hitting corner infielder/RHP continues to show much improvement and impress at every outing moved up to the 5th best prospect at third base for the class of 2019, stands at  5-foot-10 and weighs 160 pounds, ran a 4.64 from home to first.  Offensively- Starts from a slightly open lower half some shift of weight to the back knee with the hands ear height in front of the back shoulder and barrel of the bat 45 degrees to the ground. Uses a slight shift of weight to the back side while lifting the front foot, lead knee slight inward rotation driving back halfway to the back knee, while the hands are loaded straight back staying slightly inside the back shoulder and barrel of the bat lifting a bit greater than 45 degrees during the launch phase of the swing. Hands stayed compact and connected to the lower half movement during batting practice. Displayed the patience and ability to drive the ball from gap to gap during BP as well. Recorded an exit velocity of 86 MPH, a personal best  (+7 MPH from August). Defensively- Gets the feet moving before the pitch with a slight hop technique with the hands slightly outside the body. Approaches the ball with very good body control, creating a hop with short choppy steps. Transfers the ball quickly and efficiently from the center of the body waist high. Will double-tap at times but does not upset the timing between the lower and half enough to affect the throw. Throws showed plus carry and accuracy as well as registering an arm velocity of 80 MPH, a personal best and increase of 12 MPH from August.   Pitching- Worked from the first base side of the rubber. Used a simple leg lift, getting the lead knee slightly below the waist with the hands remaining waist high as well. The fastball, thrown from a mid to low ¾ arm slot, showed heavy run and sink to the arm side at 82 MPH. Located the FB well to both sides of the plate staying mainly in the lower third of the zone. The curveball, topping out at 69 MPH, showed tight rotation and 11-to-5 shape. The changeup, could show more quality differential from the fastball topped out at 76 MPH, but showed some arm side fade. Secondary pitches need more development, but showed an ability to throw well and possibly be a two-way threat at the next level.

Long Island Prospect Preview (August 8, 2016)
Milopsky,a strongly built 2019 grad from Rocky Point HS,  stands at 5-foot-9 and 160-pounds. He ran a 7.80 60. Offensively-  Hits from a vertical open stance. Hands begin above the back shoulder with the bat at a 45 degree angle. Swing is initiated by a front leg kick. Hands stay back during the launch phase, gets the front foot down flat, enabling the front hip to stay closed. Drove the ball powerfully to all fields. This 2019 grad registered an exit velocity of 79 MPH, but at earlier events has been as high as 82 MPH. Strong looking hitter that projects well over the next few years. Defensively- Moves well laterally, creating good hops and showing a quick transfer.  Projects well to a corner infield position at the next level.  Throws from a 3/4 arm angle and topped out at 68 MPH, but has been recorded as high as 71 MPH at previous events.
Long Island Preseason (February 18, 2016)
A solid 5-foot-8, 145 pounds, Robert has shown good development over the past year. Offensively- Plus upper body strength is shown in his stocky athletic body type.  Very quiet load allows his ability to repeat mechanics swing after swing.  Registered ball exit velocity at 82 MPH with plus extension through the hitting zone.  Excels at getting his front foot down to recognize pitch and location. Defensively- Good athletic lateral movements he actually projects well to a corner infield position at the next level.  Throws from a 3/4 arm angle and topped out at 71 MPH across the diamond.  Has a slight hesitation/hitch in his transfer and would cut down on his throwing time to 1B if he got rid of that and focused on being more efficient with his throwing motion.

Futures Showcase (February 28, 2015)

Robert stands 5-foot-5, 145-pounds with room for growth.  At the plate he starts even, stance is shoulder width apart.  Short back load and toe touch for timing on the pitch.  Would like to see a little more rhythm, and less of a pause between load and swing.  Swing is straight and down to the ball with lift at contact.  Pull hitter, should work on staying inside the ball. Shoulder high finish, good balance.  69 MPH exit velocity.  In the field he shows good footwork, moves well from side to side.  Keeps his glove palm up and in front before receiving.  Would like to see him stay lower, and pick the ball up out front.  Shuffles well, above average fielder.  Looking forward to seeing him as he matures.
