New York Games (June 27-29, 2016)
Stands 6-foot, 165-pounds with a thin athletic frame that will certainly take on some quality weight over the next few years. Rosati has been one of the higher end athletes we've seen over the past year in the state showing above average tools across the board. 91-mph exit velocity, 91-mph arm speed from the outfield and a 6.82 60 runner. Offensively- At the plate sets up tall with hands slightly above shoulder height. Uses good rhythm within load to generate good power for a smaller frame. Defensively- Has shown ability to track a ball well in the outfield and uses his arm strength to an advantage showing it off multiple times throughout the games keeping runners from advancing on him. Pitching- On the mound shows life in the arm reaching 83-mph max velocity at times but sat 77-79 MPH at NY Games. Curveball has very good shape and shows the ability to command it well in the upper 60's.

Preseason All-State (February 28, 2016)

Now through four-showcases, Rosati has started to show some real next-level signs. Rosati stands 6-foot-0, 165-pounds with a lean athletic frame. Rosati stands out as one of the best athletes in the state in the 2017 class.  Ran the 2nd best 60-yard dash with a 6.91 and has shown an outfield arm up to 91-mph.  Offensively-  Sets up with a wide base and uses a small leg kick, bat flattens out a little on load and stays level through the zone.  Exit velocity was also at the top of the class at 89-mph. Defensively- Shows great footwork, with a plus above average arm (91-mph), and next level ability in the outfield. He's got the versatility to move almost anywhere on the field and has shown he can pitch as well if needed. With some added strength and weight there's a lot to dream on from this WNY OF prospect.
WNY Pro Holiday Clinic (December 19, 2015)
This 6 foot 160 pound 2017 showed a high ceiling with 4.1 speed from the right side down the line and plus bat speed with a frame that still has a lot of room to fill out.  Offensively- At the plate he sets up with a wide base and hands at head level.  He has limited weight transfer with a short stride.  Hands have little movement pre pitch and launch from a high slot creating slight uphill path throughout.  Defensively-In the outfield Rosati shows sound fundamentals working through the baseball and throwing from a above ¾ slot.  His ball had a lot of carry which shows good upside potential in the future.  Overall Rosati shows next level athleticism with great tools.  Some added time in the weight room should add some necessary strength to take his tools to the next level. Pitching - He uses a larger side-step, hand stay around his head area, knee lift just north of his belt with some driving tilt. Arm action is clean, releases from a high-3/4 slot, collapses on his back side on the release. Athletic follow-through over his front side.
Preseason All-State Invite (February 15, 2015)
Rosati stands 5-foot-11, 150-pounds with a slender athletic build. At the plate he has a relaxed approach. On the pitch he loads back, weight shifts back., short stride. Barrel drops as he powers forward, bat plane is level through the zone, shoulder height finish. His swing produces an 80 mph exit velocity off a tee. From the OF he gets his body behind the ball, athletic approach. Clean glove to hand transfer, fluid arm action, throws from a high-3/4 slot at 74 mph. He ran a 7.03 60 yard dash showing signs of athleticism.
Western NY Winter Combine (January 3, 2015)
Rosati stands 5-foot-11, 150-pounds with a slender athletic build. From the mound he uses a side step, belt high knee lift with good tempo, breaks his hands over the rubber. Stays strong on back side driving towards home, front hip stays closed. He uses a short, clean arm action, shoulders stay level, front side leaks open some. Throws from a high-3/4 slot, finishes his pitches with long extension over his front side. Signs of run and life on his fastball.

He showed a lot of athletic upside at our "Winter Combine" jumping a 28' vertical leap, an 8'3" Broad Jump, and running a 1.78 in the 10 yard dash.  Day 1 showed promise on the mound, and day 2 he showed good actions as an outfielder.  He stays behind the ball nicely and comes through his throws using his whole body. At the plate Rosati showed a consistent bat path and the ability to stay inside the baseball.  He uses his lower half well and stays quick to the ball.  Though he already shows signs of power, with added weight to an athletic frame, and good bat speed, this 2017 should see big gains in his gap power through the next 2 years.
