May 2018

In 2 games of work at shortstop, Ryan (R/R) was 4 for 6, 3 R, 5 RBI, 2 BB, and 1 HP  Batting in the 3 and 2 spots, Ryan accounted for 8 of UEs 14 runs in the series. He made several nice snags charging short hop ground balls at SS to gun out runners at first in the 2nd game.

May 2018
Best defensive player on the field, athletic actions with confidence. Loved his approach in the batters box, open stance and compact, loose hands and showed the ability to drive the baseball. Good looking player on both sides of the ball.

NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)
Slender 5-foot-8, 145-pound shortstop, ran a 7.45/60. Offensively - quick to the ball, short, compact swing, repeatable motion with an exit velocity of 83 MPH, keeps barrel on level bat path through the zone, stays middle third of the field with a fairly upright stance, lower body engagement will add to power. Defensively - smooth and agile, precise footwork, comfortable and confident body language, easy transfer to throwing hand, accurate arm at 75 MPH.
Southern Tier Open (August 5, 2015)
Stands at 5-foot-8, 130 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 7.39 60 yard dash.  Defensively- He has a smooth approach through the ball, with smooth, soft, quick hands, throws with a low to high 3/4 arm action, plays through the ball nicely, with some of range, and has accuracy on the target.  His arm strength was 71 MPH.  Offensively-At the plate his setup is relaxed and balanced stance, mid-range leg kick stride, with a back load.  His hands are very compact, swinging on a level plane with good extension through the ball, with a nice high finish.  His exit velocity was 71 MPH.  Young player to keep an eye on.
