McNabb is 5-foot-9 135 pound LHP with a lean frame. He ran a 4.91 Home/1B. Offensively- Open stance; slight barrel tip towards the mound with a stride that brings him back to even. Stays behind the ball with aggressive lower half. Slight incline in swing path through the zone with solid contact. Exit velocity was 73 MPH. Defensively- Controlled approach; fields ball to glove side. Would like to see McNabb get the ball more out in front and a cleaner transition to a more aggressive crow hop. On the infield (1B) McNabb maintains active feet, soft hands out in front with a clean transfer. Athleticism shows better at 1B presently. Peak arm strength from the defensive portion was 70 MPH. Pitching- Sets up from the middle of the rubber from the stretch position, with ball shoulder high. Long arm action working through a low ¾ slot; lands closed getting over front side; does fall off the 3rd base side of the rubber with his finish. Max FB is 69 MPH, sitting 67-69 MPH with his CB and CH both sitting at 55-58 MPH range. As he grows and adds to his frame, his velocity should increase. Loose arm repeatable delivery will allow for his velocity to increase.
