Physical: Strong, projectable 6-foot-1, 220lb frame with durability present. 7.87 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Wide, bent, even stance as the hands showed quick rhythm to start. Utilized a short lift and replace stride, gathering to the shoulder and launching through a flat path into the hitting zone. Showed off some rotation in the swing, blocking off properly into a stiff front side with minor weight shift. Featured a balanced approach spraying the ball around the field during batting practice from gap to gap, notching a T88 mph bat-exit velocity (via Trackman) at his peak. Worked up to a 324 foot batted ball distance adding a 33% line drive rate (solid bat to ball skills, doubles power).
Defensively: The third baseman operated with choppy footwork, arriving on time at a wide base. Funneled softly with the hands into the middle of his body, gaining momentum with a shuffle while exchanging, and released from an accurate H ¾ slot to the target (76 mph arm). Was able to handle plays to his left side comfortably with a quick trigger.
Pitching: RHP - Started off the middle/right side of the rubber with a quicker pace to the delivery, got to a balanced, medium stack position and worked down the slope using high tempo from a lower ¾ slot. Landed with good direction and stayed consistent on his release, able to throw strikes to the bottom of the zone at 81-82 mph (11 inches HM, arm-side run). Mixed a shorter 65-67 mph SL with ability to land for strikes (50% zone rate) adding a commanded 65-68 mph CH in any count (average sell).

FB: Commands a heavy ball down with up to 20" of arm side run. CB: slurvy 10-4 shape commanded to the glove side. CH: Good fade on it while slowing the hand speed a bit.
7/06/20
Physical: 6-foot-0, 200 pounds; strong, physical build. Kingsley is a solid 5-foot-9, 135 pound RHP/3B who ran a 4.79 second home to first time. Offensively- Right handed hitter who sets up wider than shoulder width with hands back and near the right ear. Pre-pitch bat movement and slight trigger prior to contact. Solid balance, hands and hips in sync produces a consistent upperward bat path with two handed high finish resulting in a line drive swing; exit velocity 71 MPH. Defensively- Basic set-up and two step approach to the ball allows the fielder to get low as the ball approaches. Methodical approach; consistent transfer allows for an accurate arm with velocity of 60 MPH.Pitching- Sets up in the middle of the rubber from the stretch. Feet are shoulder width apart and hands are set at the chest. High leg lift blocks the front side transfer and results in a short arm delivery that is low 3/4. Could throw harder with a balanced leg lift allowing for the hands to break before delivering to the plate. Fastball sat 60-62 MPH with maximum 63 MPH. CB was 50-53 and Change up 47-48 MPH.
