Offensively: Power potential from the RHH. 104MPH exit velocity and shows some feel for the barrel. Bat speed averages 74.46 per Blast Motion. Begins slightly open with some bend in the knees. Uses a leg lift to work back towards the pitcher. Hands start out front at chest level and work back to a strong load position. Has some barrel whip as the move is made towards the hitting zone.
Defensively: Good target to throw to at 1B. Showed quality footwork around the bag. Top end 84MPH throwing velocity across the diamond. The strength is there, mobility will be vital as the 1B continues to develop.

Offensively- RHH stands in the box in tall stance feet shoulder width apart. Moss works off a slight let lift for timing and balanced before attacking the hitting zone. Quick direct path to the baseball with a slight lift at the point of contact. Moss sprayed the ball all over the field during batting practice at the Fall Top Prospect games. Defensively- The 1B displayed active footwork. Moves well laterally and around the bag. Takes his time to gather himself to make throws in the infield. Moss has a projectable frame and is someone to follow has he continues to develop.
7/29/19
Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance. Moss stays in sync with smooth loading actions and a leg kick. Moss is strong and swings with intent. Hard consistent contact during the hitting session at the St. John’s campus series event. Defensively- Displayed active footwork. Athletic enough to play multiple positions on the field. Fields in the ball in a low wide base and shows smooth funnel actions. Moss is a projectable player.

Body Type: 6-foot-1, 190-pound well put together prospect. Swing Mechanics: Righty swinger with fluid, athletic movements that come together well. Hit: Uber physical bat that generates easy velocity. Natural tools are advanced for class. Ball absolutely explodes off barrel. Very impressive round. Power: 94.9 off the bat in BP. Easy lift with gap abilities and emerging power in there. Offensive Projection: Run Producer. Field: Remains under control through fielding sequence. Ball skills are good with the chance to get better as he develops. Throw: Throws from over the top. Arm plays in the corners. Defensive Projection: Corner infielder.
