At the plate, Nutley starts in a neutral stance with hands above backs shoulder. Uses a foot lift and stride to start swing. Minimal hand load. Short, quick swing through the zone with an uphill finish. Stiff front leg on contact, will rise up occasionally on finish as well. Defensively, took reps at shortstop. Throws topped at 83 MPH across the diamond, which was one of the best recorded infield velocities of the event. Fields ball out in front of body with left foot/leg in front of right, which closes himself off to first base upon receiving the ball. Brings glove to chest for a gather, smooth transition and short arm action from a high-¾ slot.

Nutley possesses a lanky and athletic frame at 6-foot, 155-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.63 seconds. Recorded an exit velo of 85 MPH. Starts at the plate in an even stance with his front foot inverted. Weight is also shifted onto his backside initially. Hands begin slightly above shoulder height. Creates pre-swing rhythm. Hands stay locked in position. Smooth weight transfer using a small stride. Displayed easy bat speed. Barrel stays through the zone. Ability to hit line drives to all fields consistently. Defensively, took reps in the infield. His top velo on throws across the diamond was 77 MPH. Approaches the baseball under control. Gets very low as he fields the ball. Brings to the ball to his midsection, where he also transfers it. Will sometimes gather himself with a glove tap and a shuffle. Made accurate throws with a long arm action and 3/4 arm slot.

Nutley has a lanky, athletic build at 6-feet 150-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.44 seconds. Exit Velocity topped at 80 MPH. At the plate, Starts in a neutral stance with weight on back side and hands above back shoulder. As pitch comes in, uses a foot stride and leg lift to start swing, hands load back. Extension in arms creates some pop to swing. Balanced finish was lift. Defensively, throws topped at 77 MPH across the infield. Short, stabby arm action. Shows some bounce to step in the field. Able to move freely side to side. Can throw from multiple arm slots and get the ball on target. Exchange is quick, plays through throws to first base.
