Elon Commit, 5-foot-11, 188-pound lean frame. 60 time of 6.80. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's 90 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Started in a strong stance with a small load, then used a short stride before his swing. Displays a level swing plane and explosive bat speed, he ends his swing with high finish. Found some barrels in his round. Gap to gap approach. From the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 81 mph; has athletic feet and a clean exchange. Uses his glove out front. Showed a high ¾ slot and a long arm action

Uncommitted. Granatell stands at a strong, broad shouldered frame at 5-foot-11 190-pounds. Smoked a long triple off Mike Ruggieri and collected another hard barrel on a single that went up the middle. Quiet approach at the plate with hands starting above his back shoulder and out in front of his body. Uses a small leg lift and stride to start swing as hands move down and back with some fluidity. Short, quick stroke with some line drive pop. Finishes uphill and maintains balance throughout.

2019 Preseason All State Showcase

Granatell has a strong and broad shouldered frame at 5-foot-11, 190-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.54 seconds. Recorded an exit velo of 90 MPH. Starts tall at the plate in a slightly open stance. Hands start away from the body, brings them down and back during his load. Uses a small, hanging stride. Present barrel awareness, lots of hard contact during an impressive BP round. Hands stay through the zone. Took reps defensively in the outfield, and recorded a top velo of 83 MPH. Attacks the ball aggressively yet under control. Made strong throws from an over-the-top arm slot. 

Granatell has a strong and athletic frame at 5-foot-10, 180-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.30 seconds. Recorded an exit velo of 82 MPH. Starts at the plate in a tall and open stance. Hands begin at shoulder height. Small stride with a toe tap. Creates pre-swing rhythm. Moves his hands down and back during his load while bringing his back elbow parallel to the ground. Smooth stroke, hit line drives to all fields. Maintains rhythm throughout. Defensively, took reps in the outfield and recorded a positional velo of 73 MPH. Used short, choppy steps as he approached the baseball. Maintained momentum as he fielded the ball. Made accurate throws to home with a long, smooth arm action.

Granatell possesses a strong and physical build at 5-foot-10, 180-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.67 seconds. Recorded an exit velo of 85 MPH. Starts at the plate in a tall stance with his feet even. Hands are at around shoulder height, away from the body. Elbow becomes parallel to the ground. Hands move down and back during his load. Big leg kick, is able to stay on time. Hands stay inside the baseball. Athletic hands enable Granatell to drive the ball the other way. Load is slow and controlled. Maintains rhythm. One-handed finish. Defensively, took reps as an outfielder. Recorded a velo of 78 MPH. Does not break stride when fielding the baseball. Takes the appropriate route to balls in all directions. Transfers the ball at chest height. Made on line throws from a 3/4 arm slot.
