Hunt stands at 6-foot-1, 195-pounds. Has a strong and athletic build. Pitched strictly from the stretch. Starts with his feet closed and back leg preset. Has a long, loose and clean arm action, with his release point coming from a 3/4 slot. Works quick, maintains rhythm and tempo. Stride direction stays in line. Strong frontside, is able to get over it. Even shoulder tilt as he goes down the mound. Hunt’s fastball topped at 89 MPH and sat 87-89 MPH. His FB velo was one of the tops at the event. Was able to consistently locate his FB down and to both sides of the plate. Curveball showed sharp 11/5 shape at 73-75 MPH. CB was located both in and out of the zone, showing swing and miss potential regardless of location. Changeup was mostly 79-80 MPH, and had significant fade to it. Maintained his normal arm action on his CH. 

Underclass Games (September 24th, 2017)
Hunt has a broad shouldered, athletic frame at 6-feet 185-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.64-seconds and recorded an exit velocity of 92 MPH. Hunt was one of the top overall performers at the event. Offensively– starts in a balanced, neutral stance with hands above back shoulder. Uses a small leg kick and stride to start swing. Explosive hips and hands through the zone help produce some pop. Uphill swing, produces lift to the gaps in finish. Defensively– took reps at third base. Throws topped at 81 MPH across the diamond with backspin and carry. Shows smooth hands and some bounce to step at third base. Exchange is clean with soft hands and plays through throws to the bag. Pitching – fastball topped at 87 MPH, which was the top velocity of any pitcher from the day. Long, loose and clean arm action with repeatable mechanics. Projectable frame with some room to fill out. Fastball sat mostly 83-85 thoughout his outing, flashing a sharp 11/5 breaking ball at 72-73 that he used as a true out pitch. Also showcased a changeup at 76-77 with heavy armside run and sink. Works primarily from the stretch, Short leg lift into a strong balance position. Uphill shoulders going down the mound into a high-3/4 slot. Land leg is firm and lands balanced with a clean follow through. Curveball showed tight spin and fastball arm speed out of hand, was tough for hitters to pick up. One of the top 2020 players in the state.

Futures Preview North ( June 3, 2017)
Athletic Stocky build at 5-foot-11, 175-pounds. When running the 60-yard dash he ran a 7.55. When at the plate he has a balanced stance with a small leg lift towards the ball. His exit velocity off his back was 91 MPH. Has a short compact swing that generates pull pop. In the field, he showcases as a third basement with clean footwork and ball that carries. Hunt was clocked at 74 across field. Off the mound Hunt pitches with a funky overhead delivery. His fastball is consistently 81-83, topping at 84 MPH. His off-speed curve is a true 12-6 curve with the velocity of 65-66. Hunts change up shows arm side run at the end.
