08.05.18
Thin build at 5-foot-10, 160 pounds.  Plenty of maturation still to come. Twitchy athlete, ran a a 6.98 sixty with a good burst off the line.  Should improve the time as he gains strength and carries his top end speed longer. Left handed hitter works tall and balanced.  Slight weight shift back to load. Short stride. Direct path working for extension. Looseness in swing, finishing with one hand release.  Better than average bat speed with good barrel awareness. Peppered the middle of the field in BP and carried over the gap-to-gap approach in game situations.  Exit velocity of 91 mph. Still needs some polish in the outfield to be a premium defender in center, but the tools are present. Clean arm action with accuracy.  Approaches the ball with confidence. Quick exchanges and one shuffle through the transition with a short arm swing and high-¾ release. Positional velocity of 86 mph.
01.28.18
Average athletic build at 5 feet 10, 170 pounds.  Offensively he works from the left side using a leg kick from an athletic setup. Uses the lower half well, generating above average bat speed and an exit velocity of 88mph. Line drive approach.  Can gets long at times.  Maintains extension out front. Right handed thrower works to a clean high-3/4 release with the positional velocity peaking at 86mph from the outfield. Cautious exchange, handling the ball cleanly.  Accurate with average carry.  Quickness played with run times of 3.88 in the 30-yard dash, 4.35 in the 5-10-5 agility test.  Good agility in the lower half posting a 9-7 in the standing broad jump.
08.10.17
Athletic frame that has some strength present at 5-foot-10, 160 pounds.  Ran a 7.21.  Arm measured at 85 from right field.  Quick clean exchanges, playing through the ball.  Short, loose arm swing gets to a high-3/4 slot.  Advanced accuracy with above average carry.  Left-handed hitter works with a vertical bat, with waggle through the load back.  Short stride.  Average bat speed.  Works level and wants extension.  Pull emphasis through BP.  Barrel is in and out of the zone quick at times.  Load can be rushed, getting the waggle to set to a launch position.  Exit velocity of 81 off the barrel.

05.21.17

Lanky, lean athlete at 5-foot-10, 160 pounds.  Frame can handle plenty of strength.   Ran a 7.13 sixty.  Strong arm action with a long swing to an over-the-top slot, displaying some carry at 79 mph.  Works soft and fluid through the baseball with clean easy exchanges.   Athletic, playing through balls with ease.   Left handed hitter, starts closed and uses a short stride, remaining slightly closed through the shoulders at foot strike.  Better than average bat speed comes from a ‘C’ load in the hands to trigger the swing.  Works for extension, wanting to stay gap-to-gap.  Lacks some rhythm, hurting barrel awareness at times.  As strength is added, swing should play up.  Exit velocity peaked at 78 mph off the barrel.
