Uncommitted. Engle is a left handed arm that has an unlimited amount of upside. Already working the fastball up to 91 and sitting at 89-90 in his relief outing for Charlotte Baseball Academy, Engle already possesses enough velocity to raise some eyebrows. Yet, he stands at 6’5” 195 lbs, making him a wiry lefty with plenty of projectability. He also showed a breaking ball, sitting 76-79 mph with it, along with an 81-84 mph changeup. Engle already has the tools to be a highly touted player in the 2026 class, and I am excited to see how he continues to progress as he grows in size and grows in his pitching ability.
