Oct '16 Physical kid who moves well and has good hands behind the plate. Showed some arm strength on a back pick. Swing has some length, but he is strong and appears athletic enough to shorten that swing down enough to become an above average hitter as a catcher.

4/13/15 Received well and has solid arm strength. Impressed with his demeanor and poise defensively. In a situation when many young catchers would have come out of the chute to make a throw, he stayed down and quiet to receive a borderline pitch when the runner at first base got a jump on a steal that left him with no chance to throw the runner out. Also got the barrel twice to a pitcher with a mid-80s FB and solid CB.
