At 6-foot-1, 190-pounds, Uhrich is a physically strong two way player who opened eyes with his right-handed power potential. Uhrich has a strong lower half, which he uses well to power through the baseball. He stays strong through the ball, and creates excellent backspin carry. Defensively behind the plate, Uhrich registered a top pop time of 2.03 and demonstrated soft hands during bullpens. On the mound, he sat 79-83, topping out at 84. Uhrich also throws a 71-72 mph cutter with late glove side movement and a 72-74 mph change up with some depth and arm side run.
