Updated Recruiting News Around Missouri

A trio of Westminster players make their commitments. LHP Ben Lovell has committed to Belmont University, RHP/1B Ben Mitchell has committed to Covenant College, and Class of 2014 MIF Shane Benes has committed to Mizzou
Last season Lovell posted an impressive 10-0 record with a 1.00 ERA, allowing only eight earned runs in fifty-six innings pitched while fanning sixty-nine batters.
Mitchell hit .357 with six doubles, one triple and one homerun, to go along with a 4-3 record on the mound with a 2.10 ERA while holding opposing batters to a .167 ERA.
Benes hit .364 with twelve doubles, three triples, two home runs and forty-nine RBIs. Benes was a member of Team Missouri at the Midwest Future Games.
In other recruiting news:
RHP Matt Hink from Marquette has committed to Harvard. Last season as a junior, Hink posted a 3-1 record in forty-six innings pitched with a 0.76 ERA, while striking out twenty-seven batters and holding opposing batters to a .203 batting average.
C/RHP Kyle Uhrich from Webster Groves has committed to Maryville University. Uhrich hit .375 with two doubles, one triple, and one home run last season. He also posted a 4-3 record with a 2.88 ERA, striking out twenty-nine batters in thirty-four innings pitched.
3B Jordan Harmon from Lindbergh HS has committed to Austin Peay. Last season Harmon hit .329 with five doubles, one triple, two home runs, and twenty-one RBIs.
McKendree University received a commitment from Francis Howell LHP Dylan Salsman. Salsman posted a 3-0 record last season with a 3.00 ERA in thirty-two and two-thirds innings pitched.
RHP Adam Jelovic from Parkway West has committed to Jefferson College.
