7/14/15 - Hylton is a 5-foot-10 180-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and left-handed pitcher in the 2016 class. Hylton ran a 7.35 60 and posted an 84 mph exit velo. At the plate, he has a wide base and smooth load, power to the pull side and quick hands. In the outfield, Hylton plays through the ball with a good route and a high-three quarters release. He has loose arm action with accurate throws at 73 mph. During his bullpen, Hylton threw a high percentage of strikes, with a fastball working at 79-82 mph. His breaking ball was a 2-to-8 slider at 70-71 mph with late movement. His change-up was 73-74 mph that worked the bottom of the zone. He has a smooth/repeatable delivery with a high three-quarters to over-the-top release. Hylton hides the ball well and is able to work both sides of the plate.
