10/20/18 – Badwan is a lean and athletic left-handed pitching and outfield prospect in Missouri’s 2021 class out of Ft. Zumwalt West HS. At the event he ran a 7.25 second 60 yard dash, 4.31 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 80 mph. During hitting evaluations, Badwan sprayed line drives to all fields, leg lift into his load, rhythm with hands, quick hands, level bat path, smooth and repeatable swing. Defensively in the outfield, Badwan has athletic actions, smooth and quick arm action, clean transfers, momentum towards target, positional velocity of 75 mph, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Badwan has a simple and compact delivery, repeats, works downhill, uses glove side for added deception, high three-quarter arm slot, quick arm. Fastball is 73-78 mph, thrown for a high percentage of strikes to both sides of the plate, occasional cut, kept hitters off balance during game action, curveball was 61-62 mph at the event, 1-to-7 shape, sharp at times, changeup is 68-69 mph with some cut.

At the plate, Badwan starts open and has a controlled, consistent leg kick. He uses somewhat of a double load with his hands to sync up with his leg kick and get into a good power position. He has a very flat bat path and makes solid, consistent contact with a middle of the field approach, getting his exit velocity up to 81 mph. In the outfield, Badwan showed a quick exchange at times with a high three quarter arm slot, getting his velocity up to 70 mph.
