Jack Schroeder: 3B/C, (2022) Christian Brothers College, MO. 6-foot, 165-pound lean frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 87 mph. Started in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride to initiate his swing. Bat speed was above average, displayed short swing plane and high finish. Was able to create some loud contact and found multiple barrels.Pull side approach. Above average in the infield, displayed a velocity of 78 mph; showed sure hands, a clean exchange and consistent feet. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.98 60-yard dash.
Schroeder is a lean 6-foot, 165-pound, right-handed hitting infield prospect in Missouri’s 2022 class. He showed some foot speed running a 6.93 second 60 at the event. During batting practice, Schroeder posted an exit velocity of 86 mph, simple load, rhythm to hands, narrow stride, quick bat, leverages front side, feel for the barrel, flat bat path, aggressive with back hip, contact to all fields during round. Defensively on the infield, aggressive to the baseball, momentum towards target, clean transfers, three-quarter release, 80 mph across the infield.
