Cape Cod: Hit .310/.362/.582 with 14 homers during a breakout sophomore campaign this spring, but he struggled in Chatham, hitting just .113 with 27 strikeouts against nine walks. With a thick, strong frame at 6-1, 212 pounds, Ingram is a fringe-average runner who moves around fine in left field. He has a slightly open stance and a quiet approach, and we saw him hit the ball to all fields, but he struggled against good velocity in our looks. Still, he has plenty of strength and his power bat is worth monitoring despite his rough summer on the Cape.

Excelled at the plate with a pair of hits in his two at-bats—a hard hit single through the six-hole and a line drive single to left. He showed a level swing path, above average bat speed and was aggressive on the bases.

Ingram is a strong and athletic 6-foot 195-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2020 class.  He ran a 4.29 home to first and had a 99 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, balanced stance, controlled leg kid, accelerates with quick bat speed to contact, level path, stays on ball after contact, power to middle and pull side of the field, showed good barrel awareness, hard consistent contact.  Behind the plate, 1.99-2.06 pop times, 82 mph positional velocity, staggered set up, replaces feet, mostly accurate thrower, clean exchange with hands, on time with feet, throws have carry.

6/5/18 - Ingram is a well built 6-foot 195-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2020 class.  He Rana 7.21 60, a 4.56 home to first and has a 93 mph exit velocity. At the plate, open stance, controlled leg lift, in line stride, aggressive swing, mostly pull side contact with power, will use opposite gap, feel for the barrel with loud contact. Behind the plate, pop times between 2.05 and 2.24-seconds, 77 mph positional velocity, wide set up, over the top arm slot, quick catch and throw, quick and athletic feet, mostly accurate throws, some with carry to the bag.
