6-foot-4, 190-pound right-handed hitting pitcher. Bustos has long limbs on his 6-foot-4, 190-pound frame, and could pack on even more strength in the future. Delivering out of a near ¾ slot, Bustos possesses a loose, whippy arm, and works free and easy. He was uptempo throughout his delivery stepping slightly across his body before pumping fastballs at 82-84. It looked harder than what the radar read, and with his long arms, he was able to get extended towards the plate. He dropped his slot a bit on the breaking ball which sat 68-69, but showed feel for a sinking changeup at 73-75. As he continues to grow into his frame, expect Bustos to make a jump, especially as he obtains more innings.
