Fluid at the plate, the right-handed hitter was ranked 3rd with an exit velocity of 100 mph.Began in an open tall stance with a compact load, then used a toe tap. Bat speed was quick, showed a simple level swing plane and level finish. Barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Line drive approach. While catching, he made strong, efficient throws to second at velocities up to 84 mph. Behind the plate, he made strong throws to second and produced an efficient position velocity of 84 mph; Had quick feet and transfers on his throw downs, recording a 1.93-1.96 pop time. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.0.

Arm: 84 mph catcher velocity.
Speed: 7.00 (60-yard).2021 C/RHP Zack Horky has a strong build at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds is a catcher by trade, but has accepted a new role at the Future Games and excelled at it. On the mound, he didn’t allow a run or hit over two innings and struck out five. He showed advanced command of his 84-87 mph fastball touching 88 mph and mixed in a sharp curveball at 72-74.
Hitting: At the plate sets up with a balanced stance showing a quick leg lift turning inward. Makes contact working the pull side with aggression.
Swing: Sets up with a balanced approach with his hands back. Turns his front leg inward while lifting and swings with a longer two hand swing. Makes solid contact consistently while producing drives. 84 mph exit velocity with wood.
Fielding: Behind the plate has a wide base, receives with one arm, standing tall throwing down to 2B. Accurate throwing arm with his pop time ranging 1.96-2.03 with an 82 mph catcher velocity.
Mechanics: Steps left moving to a letter high balance point throwing with a long loose arm action.
Fastball: Easy out the hand sitting 82-84 mph with arm side run. Works the zone well. Touched 85 mph.
Curve: Sweeping action on the curve with late bite 66-68 mph.
Change up: Heavy feel on the change up with a downer action 72-74 mph.
6-foot-1, 185-pound well developed frame, stands out for a 2021 grad. Not only does he not look the role of a young player, he doesn’t perform like one either. On the mound has a fast arm, throwing from a high loose ¾ arm angle. Fastball explodes out his hand with natural late life, flashing arm side run 81-84 mph. 67-69 mph curve had an 11/5 shape and a 70-71 mph changeup. In the field moves through the ball throwing with a long loose arm action with good carry. At the plate made solid contact working gap to gap.
