Two pitch mix on the mound and had both pitches working. Fastball sat 84-87 MPH paired with a tight breaking curveball at 70-73 MPH. Has confidence in his breaking stuff picking up a strikeout to strand runners at the corners with back to back curveballs. Competitor on the mound. Another guy with big time projectability at 6 foot 6, 190 pounds.

Pitching: On the mound has a balanced starting point taking a step left and moving to his balance point throwing with an easy arm action. Feel for the sweeping breaking ball down and away from a right hand hitter. Clean command on the fastball with plenty more in the tank. Highly projectable prospect with a high ceiling.
Hitting: A tall left hand hitter posted an 89 mph exit velocity with taking a small front leg stride prior to making contact. Has the ability to hit with some lift at the plate.
3/07/20
Hitting: Tall and lengthy bat with good separation on his swing. Stayed pull side most of the time during BP with good hand speed. Flashed several 87 mph exit velocities on the day.
Fielding: Defensively, showed a good arm from 1B at 82 mph. Looked to be a bit flat footed and caught the ball too far deep at times. Overall, good footwork with a good smooth arm action.
Pitching: Begins on a slat working from the 1B side of the rubber. Sits on his back leg well driving downhill on the mound. Delivers from a high 3/4 arm angle with arm side run. Hides the ball well prior to his delivery. Curve showed an 11/5 shape working the lower half of the zone. Change up showed a late drop.
