The 2020 Future Games has a different look to it as we have decided to do our own Future Games based off of Covid-19 restrictions. PBR Michigan, PBR New England, PBR New Jersey, PBR New York, PBR Ohio, and PBR Pennsylvania are combining for the Northeast Future Games at Showers Field and Stern Field in DuBois Pennsylvania.

Report: Started on the mound for Team Michigan showing good command of a two pitch mix. Quick arm out of a low 3/4 arm slot. Fastball was up to 86 in the first inning sitting 83-85 MPH. Curveball showed tight 11/5 break at 68-71 MPH. Had hitters off balance allowing just 1 hit while striking out 5 in 3 scoreless innings.

Coy Plummer RHP / SS / South Lyon, MI / 2022Rankings StateRank: 86 / POS: 35
Report: Slender 6 foot 3, 160 pound right handed pitcher attacked hitters on the mound with a two pitch mix. Fastball was up to 81 MPH showing a good spin rate that was over 2300 rpms at times. Curveball had sharp break at 70-72 MPH flashing 12/6 break at times.

Trevor Busyn RHP / Clarkston, MI / 2022Rankings StateRank: 58 / POS: 22
Report: Right handed pitcher with a big 6 foot 8, 215 pound frame. Throws out of a high 3/4 arm slot showing a three pitch mix. Worked mostly fastball during his two inning stint sitting 79-81 touching 82 MPH. Showed a changeup low in the zone at 74-76 MPH and a curveball that was later breaking 68-69 MPH with 12/6 shape.

Kyle Remington OF / RHP / Grand Rapids Christian , MI / 2023Rankings StateRank: 14 / POS: 5
Report: Athletic right handed pitcher was very efficient in his two innings of work retiring all 6 batters he faced. Attacks hitters at a quick pace on the mound. Fastball sat 82-85 MPH touching 86 MPH with a sinking action. Changeup was thrown with good arm speed at 73-74 MPH. Curveball had late break at 70-73 MPH getting hitters to chase low and out of the zone. Struck out 3 batters all with the curveball.

Report: Davenport came out swinging against Connecticut sending a solo home run over the fence in left center in his first at bat. Ball jumps off the bat at the plate. Led Team Michigan at the plate in the game adding a leadoff opposite field single in his final at bat of the event.

Aaron Piasecki SS / 2B / Mona Shores, MI / 2022Rankings StateRank: 21 / POS: 3
Report: Piasecki opened the scoring with a hard hit 2 RBI single to RF in the first inning. Smooth line drive swing at the plate that does a good job of incorporating his entire body. Middle infielder was sound defensively on the weekend with a strong arm.

Report: Strong armed outfielder got his bat going against Connecticut. Hammered a double off the fence in right field in his first at bat of the day. Gets good reads on the base path. Showed off his wheels stealing 3rd before coming in to score on a single.

Report: Davenport was Team Michigan’s hottest hitter on the weekend finishing Future Games off in impressive fashion with a home run in a 2 hit game. Good approach at the plate showing the ability to work counts. 4 hits and 4 RBIs in 3 games while also adding a pair of walks and a pair of stolen bases. Davenport came out swinging against Connecticut sending a solo home run over the fence in left center in his first at bat. Ball jumps off the bat at the plate. Led Team Michigan at the plate in the game adding a leadoff opposite field single in his final at bat of the event.
