8/9/13 McBain can make all of the plays. He is best served as a 3B at the next level.  Solid arm across the diamond (76mph) on this day.  At the plate looks the part. Line drive swing.  Short stride with high hands. Flat bat path.  Made several nice plays during the games.  Came a got the ball well.

6/12/13 McBain showed softer hands with loose arm action.  Slinger across the diamond L3/4 slot.  Fluid actions in the field.  Good accuracy across the diamond.  Ball carried well.  Best projects as 3B at next level.  At the plate had long stride with good balance.  Line drive stroke at the plate. Occasionally got heavy on front side.

Funky delivery on the mound with side winder arm action.  Frisbee breaking ball 60-62mph.  Threw a split as well 67-68mph.  

9/16/12 McBain is a consistent and solid baseball player.  He registered one of the best position velocities of the day throwing 84 mph across the diamond from a lower 3/4 slot.  He moved well laterally and presented well to the baseball.  At the plate, he was fluid and had a little pop in the bat checking in at 83 mph.  His BP round was mostly line drives but he did have a few hard his balls to the gap.

On the mound McBain threw strikes and sat 74-76 mph from a low 3/4 almost side arm slot.  He threw a breaking ball for a strike but his best secondary offering was his split as it had late downward action.
