A strong framed left hand bat showed impressive bat speed at the plate getting his lower half involved running into quite a few barrels. Crushed multiple balls primarily working the center of the field. Showed the ability to turn on balls when needed. Went yard on multiple balls. Posted a 95 mph exit velocity. Showed off a gamer mentality on the mound throwing a pair of high-stakes innings late in the game. 4 pitch mix on the mound with a lot of confidence in his offspeed pitches. Fastball sat 84-87 MPH with armside run paired with a deceptive changeup 76-77 MPH. Has both a curveball 69-72 MPH and a slider 76-77 MPH. Curveball was his out pitch showing 1-7 break with a spin rate up over 2400 rpm. Good composure on the mound picking up a bases loaded strikeout on a curveball to end his outing.
Pitching: On the bump a LHP showed a competitive nature going right after hitters. Works at a moderate pace showing a feel for a three pitch mix. Chang of speeds on the hill throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle. Arm side run on the fastball, sharp breaking curve and a deceptive change up. Struck out multiple batters during game play.
Hitting: At the plate shows a violent swing getting his back hip engaged making hard contact. Ball jumped off his bat displaying a 93 mph exit velocity.
Hitting: Sets up with a small crouch at the plate rocking back on his back leg exploding his bat through the zone. Smashed a couple balls out the yard. Aggressive violent swing.
Pitching: On the mound sets up on a slant moving to his balance point throwing from a 3/4 arm angle. Commands the zone well showing an aggressive style on the hill attacking hitters. Fastball was easy out the hand 79-81 mph. Shows a sharp breaking curve in the zone 65-67 mph.
Hitting: Sets up with a open crouched stance showed fast hands with an aggressive approach. Takes a violent swing making solid contact. Drove balls deep to RF.
Pitching: On the mound starts on a slant turning inward to throw from a 3/4 arm angle with a fast arm. Ball comes out the hand well with late life. Fastball was low in the zone 77-78 mph with command. Sweeping action on the curve 65-67 mph.
