Ferreira is 5-10 with an athletic frame that has some strength present in the lower half and some projection left to it. He hits from the left side from a taller open relaxed stance, low leg kick stride on line, short smooth load back. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, level line drive swing path with some strength at contact, showed a pull approach with some power present that way, exit velocity was 90. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with average hands, works through ball to a clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 75. On the mound, he throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, longer quick arm action that is free and effort to his delivery. Shoulders are slightly downhill and closed, lands slightly open with a fall off finish and recoil. Fastball was 80-84, touching 85, with late hard armside two-plane movement. Curveball had good armspeed and was 67-70 with sharp 11/5 break to it. Change-up had good armspeed and was 72-75 with heavy sink. Showed command of all three pitches. Showed ability to change-up rhythm and timing of his delivery without affecting command.
