Botelho is a 5-foot-10, 220 pound right-handed hitting corner infield prospect. He hits out of a wide, slightly open stance. The hands are set just off the back shoulder. The load is short and gets him into a good hitting position. The swing path is elevated and shows pull side juice with a max velocity of 89.5 MPH during the batting practice. He stays on plane through the finish and remains balanced. He also ran a 7.63 sixty.
Defensively, Botelho showed some arm strength at third base with a max throw of 81 MPH. His feet are light as he works to get into a fundamental fielding position. He moves well laterally and uses a short, quick arm swing to get the ball across the infield. He finishes through the play well, keeping a direct line with the target.

5-foot-10 and 220 pounds. He is stocky, with a large build and an extra-large frame. He has a simple swing, but gets himself very coiled in his lower half during load and explodes through the zone. He swings hard and proves it by clocking 90 mph on his exit velocity. He hits from his backside and is a pull side hitter, with enough pop to beat the outfielders. The hands wok with easy effort through the zone. At third he impressed with quick movements and a soft glove. He showed glove control and an 80 mph arm from a high ¾ slot. On the mound, he showed a good tempo with a 3 pitch mix. He has a quick arm and was sitting 78-80 mph with his fastball, showing the curveball at 63-65 mph. The changeup was clocked at 69 mph and resulted in some off balance swings. Projects for me as an offensive player,

5-foot-11, 205-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder and pitcher. His game has improved immensely since the last time we saw him, as the hard work is paying off. The approach in the infield is active with the feet, the glove works and he is athletic through the catch. He threw 82 mph during the infield portion. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 90 mph. The setup is athletic, he stays in his legs and he throws the barrel to the ball. The power potential is in there as he matures in age. On the mound, the fastball sat 78-79 mph, arm side run. The spin pitch is 67-69 mph, solid shape. The changeup is a developing pitch. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is above 3/4. The glove has pull in it which causes him to be stretched out. The arm works and some minor tweaks would help him tap into more velocity.

5-foot-3, 160-pound right-handed hitting infielder and pitcher. On the mound, the fastball touched 69 mph, minimal run to the pitch. The spin pitch is big in shape, sat at 59 mph. The changeup is a work in progress. The delivery is online with his feel, plus ¾ in slot. The arm works freely, the glove comes across the hitters face as he makes his way into footstrike. The tracking of the front shoulder needs to improve. The lift is repeated and athletic. Positionally, ran a 5.5 down the line on his dig to first base. The glove is solid, the prep steps to the ball need to improve to aid the throwing process. Threw 65 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 77 mph. Starts with his base wide, uses a pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The path is long, needs physical strength as he matures, this will help shorten the path. The finish is 1-handed and the front side needs to stay on the ball a bit longer as he initiates his hands.
