Daniel Nineve: RHP/C, (2022) King Philip, MA. 5-foot-9, 194-pound sturdy frame. Solid during batting practice, Nineve recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. Starts in a balanced open stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Had quick bat speed, uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. In his round he found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Behind the plate, throw downs to second were maxed at 72 mph; has consistent feet, a clean exchange, and sure hands. Staggered setup with some flexibility. Decent accuracy to the bases, used a short arm action with a ¾ slot. Capable on the mound, used a ¾ arm angle with a short arm action while showing some arm speed. Slow-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. He has in line shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands square with a clean finish. Threw his fastball 78-79 mph; had consistent command and running action. Showed control low in the zone and sweeping action on his slider (64-66).
