5-foot-8, 175 -pound left handed hitting infielder and right-handed pitcher. This is our second time seeing him workout and we like his game. He ran a 7.8 sixty. The approach in the infield is online and athletic through the fielding of the baseball. The glove is soft and the feet work well, he threw 76 mph across the diamond at the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 89 mph. The setup is wide in base and he uses a small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The swing path is slightly uphill through contact with the baseball. The hands are strong through contact. On the mound, the fastball sat 76-77 mph. The spin pitch was 65-66 mph and big in shape. The changeup is a developing pitch. The delivery is online with the feet and above 3/4 in slot. The lift is solid in tempo, coil at the top and he does a nice job of tracking the front shoulder. On the mound, the fastball sat 75-77 mph. The spin pitch is 61-63 mph. The delivery is online with the feet, above 3/4 in slot. The lift is athletic, small forward lean to home. The glove side is soft and the arm works freely.
